Introducing Insta360’s X4 8K 360 Action Cam

Insta360 have recently released their newest action camera, the X4, with 360 degree capture capabilities in resolutions all the way up to 8K at 30 FPS or 4K at up to 100 FPS. For adventurers, adrenaline seekers, or niche filming setups, the X4 is quite a powerful option for small action cameras.

One of the big selling features of the Insta360 X4, and the world of 360 degree image capturing, is the idea of shoot first and frame later. The magic of 360º capture is choosing the best angles after recording. With AI-powered reframing tools in the Insta360 app, just hit record and find the perfect shot after.

The Invisible Selfie Stick automatically disappears from your footage, allowing you to capture incredible third-person shots and drone-like angles that are impossible with regular action cameras. An innovative HDR video mode brings out the details and maintains superb stabilization for action sports, while Active HDR boosts colors in the highlights and shadows that other action cameras miss.

Adventurers can also use X4 as a traditional action camera with Single-Lens Mode, now twice as smooth at 4K60fps, or take it further and go ultra wide with MaxView in FreeFrame Video, featuring a 170° view in an upgraded 4K30fps. From rocky roads to rolling waves, X4 takes everything in its stride with superior image stabilization. FlowState Stabilization delivers smooth, quality shots, no matter how intense your adventure.

The X4 comes with smarter, easy-to-apply lens guards that are removable in a pinch - these are tempered glass guards that are built tough, scratch-resistant, and designed to preserve image quality.

The X4 has increased its battery capacity to a massive 2290mAh - that gets you 135 minutes recording time at 5.7K30fps. A whopping 67% more than X3! The X4 is also waterproof to 33ft (10m) right out of the box, or pop your X4 in the Invisible Dive Case and capture down to 164ft (50m) to record your underwater adventures in stunning 360° detail!
